PERSONAL:

  • I was raised in Potomac, Maryland, the oldest of 10 children. I have siblings in residency and medical school in various other fields. I met my lovely wife Jen (Bigler), a Las Vegas native, in college and have been married now for over 10 years. We have four children, Daniel (7), James (5), Andrew (3), and a girl, Emily (10 months).
  • I am fluent in Portuguese. Outside of the hospital I enjoy snow skiing, lacrosse, competitive soccer and wakeboarding. We enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people.
